Tinubu and the NNPC were commended for extending the Tantita pipeline surveillance contract.

President Bola Tinubu has received commendation from the Ijaw Youths Network (IJN) for extending the pipeline protection contract given to Tantita Security Services Limited for a another three years.

In a statement released yesterday, the IYN coordinator Frank Ebikabo and secretary Federal Ebiaridor praised the president for his exceptional leadership in pursuing Nigeria’s overall well-being.

The group claimed that the president’s decision to disregard a smear campaign organized by a group of self-serving persons was further support for Tantita Security Limited’s courageous efforts to stop the irrational theft of the country’s oil resources.

It claimed that Kyari’s decision to work with local security agencies to address the country’s hydra-headed existential economic crisis was a genius, as demonstrated by Tantita Security Services Limited’s indisputable accomplishments.

It urged the NNPC Ltd. GCEO to disregard a group of disgruntled militants who are threatening him in the media for doing what is right and noted that the NNPC led by Kyari only did what was expected by providing urgently needed solutions to a serious crime carried out by a group of wealthy criminals who targeted the soul of the country’s economy.

The group drew to the attention of the security agencies—in particular, the Department of State Services (DSS)—a vague organization called the Supreme Egbesu Freedom Fighters of the Niger Delta that had threatened the NNPC GCEO over the renewal of the contract.

They suggested that the claimed Supreme Egbesu Freedom Fighters of the Niger Delta inform Nigerians if they are still engaged in armed conflict or participating in the Presidential Amnesty Program.

It pleaded with the DSS director-general to take notice of the group’s warning, which seems to loudly imply that they would participate in sabotage actions in the region.

To prevent a potential attack on the country’s vital economic assets in the Niger Delta, the group urged security agencies to make sure that individuals responsible for the threat are properly tracked and detained.
