Police in Lagos Confirm Electrician’s Death and Arrest Four Cultists for Alleged Murder.
In the Shasha neighborhood of Lagos State, a 45-year-old electrician (name withheld) was electrocuted while reattaching electrical cables to a pole. His death was confirmed.
In a statement made available to reporters in Lagos on Sunday, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), revealed that a 45-year-old electrician (name withheld) had been electrocuted while reconnecting and was subsequently confirmed dead.
Hundeyin claims that the incident happened on August 10 at 11:30 a.m. while the deceased was reattaching cables to an electric pole.
After a group of police investigators arrived on the scene, he was saved and sent to a local hospital for treatment, where the attending physician pronounced him dead. An investigation is underway in the interim,” Hundeyin stated.
