PF Congratulates Tompolo on Honorary Doctorate Award
The Ijaw Publishers’ Forum (IPF) has congratulated High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, on his conferment of an Honorary Doctorate Degree by Edwin Clark University, Kiagbodo, Delta State.
In a statement, the Forum described the recognition as a well-deserved honour that reflects Tompolo’s decades of sacrifice, service, and unwavering commitment to peace, security, development, and empowerment across the Niger Delta.
According to the IPF, Tompolo’s leadership and dedication embody the true spirit of an Ijaw freedom fighter and visionary, noting that his influence has always been rooted in action and impact rather than titles.
“Tompolo has made significant contributions to the Niger Delta. His commitments have proven that true influence is earned through consistent effort and service,” the statement read. “This honour places him among distinguished personalities whose achievements speak for themselves.”
The Forum added that the recognition serves as an important message on the value of investing in people, preserving cultural identity, and standing for justice.
“We strongly believe that this Honourary Doctorate will further strengthen his voice, expand his reach, and inspire future Ijaw leaders,” the IPF stated.
