Otuaro congratulates High Chief Government Ekpemupolo for receiving an honorary doctorate.
High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, has received sincere congratulations from Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), on receiving an Honorary Doctorate of Laws (LLD) from E.K. Clark University.
Otuaro said the honor was well-earned and appropriate, pointing out that Tompolo has shown a unique dedication to the peace, development, and stability of the Niger Delta and Nigeria in general over the years.
He asserts that Tompolo’s commitment to regional peace, especially his unwavering advocacy for communication, community involvement, and peaceful dispute resolution techniques, has had a major impact on both economic stability and national security.
Beyond his contributions to peacebuilding, he added, Tompolo has shown remarkable altruism, compassion, and dedication to humanitarian causes. His investments in youth empowerment are also unmistakable proof that a man genuinely cares about his people.
“Tompolo’s good heart, generosity, and love for humanity distinguish him as a leader of rare character,” Otuaro said.
E.K. Clark University received accolades from the PAP Administrator for recognizing and honoring a figure whose influence is still felt throughout the Niger Delta and beyond.
He called on other organizations to adopt similar practices that honor those who improve society by giving freely of themselves.
As High Chief Ekpemupolo continues to serve the Niger Delta and Nigeria with honor, discernment, and compassion, Dr. Otuaro prayed for God’s ongoing direction, longevity, and strength.
