Media Icon Arex Akemotubo CEO Waffi TV triumphs over rivals on Delta PDP Auditor.
Pastor Arex Ambrose Akemotubo, the Managing Director/CEO of Waffi TV, a state-of-the-heart TV station in Delta State, who hails from Ogbe-Ijoh in Warri South-West LGA, was confirmed as the new Auditor of the PDP Delta State chapter at the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) State Congress, which was held on Saturday, August 31, at the Cenotaph in Asaba.
With just four votes ruled invalid, Pastor Akemotubo, running unopposed, received 3,149 of the 3,153 total votes cast. His nearly unanimous election indicates significant confidence in his leadership qualities and represents a broad consensus among party members.
Pastor Akemotubo is well-known for his commitment to the party and his record of service. His election is viewed as a calculated effort to guarantee strong financial monitoring and openness within the PDP’s Delta State chapter.
Both party leaders and supporters are optimistic that Pastor Akemotubo would improve the party’s standing before the next elections by bringing professionalism and effectiveness to his new position.
