PAP Boss Offers Condolences to Tinubu, Ribadu, Minister, and Defense Chiefs for the Late Chief of Army Staff Lagbaja,
Dr. Dennis Otuaro, the administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Program, has expressed his condolences to President Bola Tinubu for losing Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, the Chief of Army Staff, who passed away while serving.
On the passing of the nation’s 23rd Chief of Army Staff, Otuaro also expressed condolences to Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the Office of the National Security Adviser.
Additionally, he sent his sympathies for the death to Gen. Christopher Musa, the Chief of Defense Staff; Badaru Abubakar, the Minister of Defense; and Lt. Gen. Olufemi Oluyede, the Acting Chief of Army Staff.
On Friday, separate condolence notes were sent to the president, ONSA, the minister, and the two service chiefs.
In a statement issued by Mr. Igoniko Oduma, his Special Assistant on Media, the PAP leader called Lagbaja’s death “a tremendous loss to the Nigerian Army, the nation and the global community.”
According to Otuaro, who expressed his sorrow at the loss, he had the honor of seeing the late General’s steadfast dedication to national security and stability.
“General Lagbaja’s leadership and tireless devotion were crucial in forming the Nigerian Army into the prestigious organization it is today.
“His impact goes beyond his stellar military career. He declared, “He was a devoted patriot who devoted his life to advancing peace and unity in Nigeria.”
The previous Chief of Army Staff was a strong supporter of the PAP, Otuaro said, emphasizing that his contributions to the program would always be valued and remembered.
Along with offering his deepest sympathies, he encouraged the late General Lagbaja’s family, friends, and coworkers to take comfort in the fact that his extraordinary life and service would always be remembered.
