Engr. Disi, Who Is The Secretary-General Of The Oil-Rich Sokebolou Community, Made The Call On Tuesday At Sokebolou Town While Speaking To Journalists On The Community’s Expectations From The Governor Oborevwori Administration.

The Community Chief Scribe Strongly Urged The New Governor Of Delta State To Be A Promise Keeper And Remember The People Of Sokebolou And Ogulagha Kingdom In The Areas Of Appointments, Infrastructural Development, Empowerment, And Human Capital Development.

He Explicitly Called On The Governor To Consider And Appoint Amb. Shedrack Agediga (Jp) As A Commissioner With A Befitting Portfolio In His Cabinet.

The Community Leader Clarified That Amb. Agediga (Jp) Is An Illustrious Son Of Sokebolou Town And Ogulagha Kingdom, Whom They Are Well Impressed With.

He Lauded The Outstanding Performances Of Amb. Agediga When He Held Power As Executive Director Of Planning, Research And Statistics On The Board Of Desopadec.

While Showing Support For Agediga’s Performance, Loyalty, Likeability, And Realpolitik, Engr. Disi Characterized Him As A Strategic Thinker With Conscientious Ideas And Basic Requirement Knowledge That Can Contribute Immensely To The Development Of Delta State.

He Equally Called On Governor Sheriff To Prioritise And Complete The Already Approved Sokebolou Canalization Project, Ogulagha Odimodi Road Project, And Ayakoromor Bridge Project, In His First Year In Office While The People Eagerly Anticipate New Projects To Be Initiated And Executed In The Riverine Areas Of The Kingdom.

First, We Congratulate Him For His Successful Swearing-In As Governor Of Our Dear State. The Expectations Of Our People From His Administration Are High.

“In Line With The Innermost Desires Of Our People, We Implore His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori To Partner With Our Community In The Areas Of Infrastructural Development, Appointments, Youth Empowerment, And Human Capital Development.

“We Want His Excellency To Consider One Of Our Own, Amb. Shedrack Agediga (Jp) As A Commissioner In This Government. Amb. Shedrack Agediga Is A Tested And Trusted Leader. His Performances In All His Previous Offices Are Noticeable Even To The Blind And Audible To The Deaf. The Potential Of Amb. Shedrack Agediga To Significantly Contribute To Peace, Unity, And Development Of Our Dear State Is Never In Doubt. He Has Done It Before And Will Even Do Better If Given The Chance As A Member Of The State Executive Council.
